Introducing ‘The Practice Lab’
...for those who want to take their practice to the next level. It’s a space and time created for you to explore intermediate to advanced asanas. In class, there’s never enough time to focus, in depth, on that one asana or goal you’ve always wanted to achieve or gain more insight about.
Start with warm-ups, so our bodies are fully stretched and muscles are activated, ready for inversions or deeper asanas. Then, we spend the next hour going deeper into handstands, headstands, back bends, etc. Group exercises and support from your instructor and fellow students are key to The Practice Lab. There are plenty of opportunities to pause and ask questions, for more profound understanding of the mechanics of each asana, and to learn what repeated drills and exercises are necessary to attain your goals.
The Practice Lab is a space to explore, have fun, be adventurous, and push your body to its limits. We are all capable of so much more, if we can conquer our doubts and fears! It is not only about inversions. In some sessions, we may have a theme or a set of asanas to focus on, and in
others, there would be more freestyle practice for your own personal goals and desires.
Whether you’re beginner, intermediate, or advanced level, come and get inspired by your fellow students, and provide motivation and support for others. Consider The Practice Lab your yoga playground. We will dare to try, fall, laugh, fly, and make new friends together!
