MEITAL BAT OR

For Meital, yoga provides the tools to be closer to her  true inner self, to live life fully from a place of closeness inside.

My Sadhana, self practice, is an integration of Meditation (observation), Pranayama (energy work), Ashtanga Yoga Vinyasa and Raja (reflecting on the values of the mind with the guidance of yoga philosophy).  Ashtanga is a practice of a meditation in movement composed by a set of postures performed in a dynamic style.  The practice encourages me  to stay close to breath and energy while in movement and to gaze towards the inner self and I bring my Sadhana into my teaching.

The foundations of my teaching is Ashtanga, and I incorporate aspects of Vinyasa flow, Kundalini meditation, Philosophy of Yoga, and Thai Yoga Massage in my courses. I offer variations of postures and different rhythms of flow for all practitioners and the present moment.

By teaching Ashtanga Yoga Vinyasa as a series of set postures, I am sharing with students the tools to have a self practice at home that serve the journey of their lives.

My yoga path started India, in the woods near the Parvati river banks in the foothills of the Himalayas in 2002.

Leaving India left with me the constant presence and calling of yoga that I wished to explore more fully.  It was when I met my teacher Shimon Ben Avie in Israel that the inner meaning of the yoga knowledge started to open within me and flow into my life.  I have been fortunate to have been Shimon's assistant for his teachers training courses in Ashtanga Yoga.

Since 2005, I have been teaching classes, courses and workshops in Madrid, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Cape Town, Paris, New York, and LA.  I teach classes for groups and privates, workshops, and annual courses for teachers and practitioners.

My intention through the practice is to share the tools to liberate the mind and body from all that is hiding our true inner self.  Through the yoga tools of asana postures, meditation, and philosophy we have the opportunity to live life in totality and in closeness to ourselves and to be in synchronization with the world.

Yoga makes Sara more capable of feeling deeply - both the good stuff and the bad stuff - and along with her meditation practice, helps her to be kinder, more present, more resilient, and more courageous. It keeps her connect to her humanity. And it makes her feel more alive.

She loves cultivating a space with students where there is permission to fully be ourselves and where we're invited to practice with whatever might show up for us on any given day - physically, psychologically, and emotionally. Suze Q

Kundalini Yoga saved her life.  A crazy party girl in her 20s, SuzE Q was on a path not sustainable for her body, mind or spirit.  Her best friend invited her to a class and it began her journey back to health and wellbeing.  Kundalini continues to save her life on a regular basis.  It balances her body, thoughts and emotions and gives her the opportunity to connect with source energy and her divine Self.

There is a variety of focus in her classes, I tent to lean more toward heart & navel chakra sets. I believe in this day & age that what is needed so deeply is courage (navel center) to move from the heart! That being said, you will sweat, it will be a good work out for your body, mind & spirit.  Here are hundreds of sets & infinite ways to put them together. So you never really know what you are going to get...  But rest assured, you will always get what you need! Since then she has studied under the senior staff at Golden Bridge Yoga and completed Level 1 Teacher Training in 2007 for KRI certification.  Now crossing over from the entertainment industry where she serves as a professional dancer, choreographer and much more, SuzE Q brings her unique charisma, compassion and acute body awareness to Kundalini Yoga instruction.  Her classes are geared towards pushing through the boundaries of the mind to awaken ones true potential.
