“Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity.”
Be generous with yourself. Learn to take care of your body, and uncover the treasure within.
In this Awakening the Spine intensive, as in the weekly classes, we learn to let go of focusing on the pose itself, and instead delve deep into our relationship with our body, and explore with curiosity the connections within.
This three hour practice is an opportunity for those attending the weekly classes to enhance their practice, and is equally an opportunity for those new to the work and for those who aren’t able to take part in the weekday classes to experience this magical, radical, and friendly approach to yoga.
We will work intelligently. We will work toward experiencing ease, mobility, and clarity in our body and mind - releasing habits and blocks that lead to fragmented, stressful movement and prevent us from being fully present and realizing our potential.
This work is suitable for any age, fitness level and experience. All can benefit from it’s ability to ease pain from tension and/or injury, to increase well being, and to help develop a true friendship with your body, acquiring the tools for a sustainable practice that can last a lifetime.
